Andreas Broxson works at the intersection of infrastructure economics, capital planning, and data science. He supports public and private sector clients with long-range investment planning and asset management strategy, helping organizations make informed decisions about the maintenance, renewal, and optimization of critical infrastructure systems.

With a background in economics, statistics, and data science, Andreas develops models that evaluate lifecycle costs, asset performance, and investment risk across a range of infrastructure types. His work emphasizes the integration of quantitative methods with broader sustainability goals, allowing clients to align financial planning with long-term resilience and environmental stewardship. Asset management plays a central role in Andreas’s work, both as a technical discipline and as a strategic function. He focuses on the challenges of managing aging infrastructure under budget constraints, shifting policy mandates, and climate-related risk. His approach treats asset management not simply as cost control, but as a key driver of sustainable outcomes enabling better use of resources, reducing long-term liabilities, and supporting system-level performance over time.

At HDR, Andreas contributes to cross-sector planning efforts in the power, industrial, and waste sectors. He works with interdisciplinary teams to translate complex data into practical tools that guide prioritization, risk management, and capital allocation. His current focus includes developing strategies that embed sustainability into asset-intensive systems, using data and economic modeling to inform investment decisions that are both fiscally responsible and environmentally responsive.
