Forest Industry Barriers Survey
This industry barriers survey is intended to complement, not duplicate, the “Forest Industry Data Collection System (FIDACS) Biomass Form (University of Montana),” and we greatly appreciate the time you invest in completing this survey.
What is Working Watersheds (and purpose of this survey)?
Working Watersheds is a state-wide program to restore Colorado’s timber and forest products industry to a sustainable and productive state, while improving watershed health. Key objectives include financial sustainability for businesses, lowering the cost of investment for capital needs, improving end markets, and reducing other barriers for new and existing businesses.
Your completion of this survey is a critical step in understanding the barriers to expanding your business (e.g., social, economic, or environmental), so we may actively work to lower those barriers. Together with our partners, we aim to develop a timber industry restoration plan for Colorado by early 2027.
